The Alabama Crimson Tide is one of the most storied college
football teams of all time. With 12 national titles, 25
conference titles, 31 bowl victories, and nearly 800 wins
Alabama has been at the top of the college football world
since 1892.
 Alabama currently plays their home games
at Bryant-Denny stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The stadium
holds 92,138 screaming Crimson Tide fans on Saturdays in the
fall and is one of the most feared home crowds in all of
football.
The Crimson Tide's fiercest rival is Auburn and their
matchup is contested each year in the "Iron Bowl". This is one
of the most intesne rivalries in college football and has been
know to break up families and marriages. The Alabama Crimson
Tide lead the all time series 39-33-1.
The legendary coach Bear Bryant was more adamant about
beating the Tennessee Volunteers than Auburn though. Those two
teams regularly battle for the SEC West title along with LSU
who has developed a heated rivalry with the Crimson Tide,
especially since the Tide hired Nick Saban who formerly
coached the LSU Tigers.
Alabama has produced some of the greatest football players
and coaches of all time and currently has 20 players in the
College Football Hall of Fame. With names like Paul "Bear"
Bryant, Ozzie Newsome, Cornelius Bennett, Don Hutson, Ken
Stabler, Shaun Alexander and more current players like DeMeco
Ryans, Andre Smith, Chris Samuels, Julio Jones, Donta Hightower, and Terrence Cody the
Alabama Crimson Tide continue to pump out NFL ready
